The office of the Dean Development deals with the Developmental grants section of Y.V.U administrative office where correspondence with the various funding agencies like DST,DBT,ICMR etc., for sanction and release of grants for implementing various schemes/ Programmes of DBT,DST etc., are made

The University teachers have been operating 35 projects totaling Rs.11,00,18,000. Most of the proposals forwarded by the University were positively considered by the funding Agencies.

The University has many ongoing projects funded by DST, DBT, CSIR, Agrotech Pvt. Ltd BRNS – BARC National Mission an Monment and Anti quotes, ISRO,APCOST MOES,MNRE, Ministry of Industry and Commerce etc and the departments procured good equipment from these funds. The departments are involved in interdisciplinary research and many Memoranda of Understanding were signed at the University level.

To maintain quality of research and improve the skills of research scholars, the University has made it mandatory that scholars under Ph.D programme should give seminar at the end of the research programme.

Departmental Research committes are constituted to monitor matters related to research in the Departments. Further, Doctoral committee is constituted for each Ph.D., Student.
